Beihai Garden, known as “Northern Sea Park,” is one of the oldest and most beautiful surviving imperial gardens in Beijing. Dating back over 1,000 years, it is located just a short distance from the Imperial Palace. The park occupies an area of about 175 acres, of which the lake accounts for more than half.
You can admire the beautiful Jade Fleury Island, tour the East Shore area, the North Shore area, the Botanical Garden, the Circular Town near the North Gate, and visit the many buildings and halls in the area.

It is the ideal place to learn about the rich history of China, by viewing more than a million artifacts such as ancient bronze vessels, as well as collections of rare artifacts of gold, jade and ceramics from various dynasties through the ages.

It is the most important educational institution in China.
